and also at Mama to 4 Blessings along with Homegrown Families with the Friday Blog Hop!
So in my last post, I shared that my son is writing his own book about his most beloved toy -
a 36 foot 4 inch stuffed snake named Giant Snakey.
But the main excitement surrounding Giant Snakey right now is his impending fame and the determination of Lewis to tell his story (which may or may not be based on Lewis's life in some respects.)
So, as all good writers do, we began planting the seeds of good writing with Pre-Writing.
Lewis had several ideas that he wanted to share about Giant Snakey which you see all around the topic. His printing still leaves something to be desired but that's part of the SPD too - fine motor skills are challenging.
Nevertheless, his ideas are out on paper and now he is ready for the next seed, er -step: writing his rough draft!
This is exactly the process I use in my writing curriculum that you can view by clicking here.
Stay tuned for the continuing saga!
